At Ofhit.com, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. This Copyright Infringement and DMCA Policy explains how we handle copyright infringement claims in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable intellectual property laws.
1. DMCA Compliance
Ofhit.com complies with the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512) by responding to valid takedown notices and taking appropriate action when copyright infringement is reported.
2. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that your copyrighted work has been used or copied on our website without proper authorization, you may submit a DMCA takedown request.
Your DMCA notice must include the following:
- Your full legal name and contact information (email address and/or phone number)
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
- The exact URL(s) or location on our website where the material is found
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner
- Your electronic or physical signature

3. Counter-Notification
If you believe that the content removed or disabled was not infringing, or that you have the right to use such material (e.g. through license, fair use, or other legal grounds), you may send us a counter-notification.
A valid counter-notification must include:
- Your name, address, phone number, and email
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before it was removed
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed due to a mistake or misidentification
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your area, and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant
- Your electronic or physical signature
We will forward your counter-notice to the original complainant. If they do not respond with a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the content.
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
We reserve the right to disable or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others, at our sole discretion.
5. Misrepresentation Warning
Under the DMCA, any person who knowingly makes false claims regarding alleged infringement may be held liable for damages, including attorney’s fees. Please ensure your claim is accurate and in good faith.
