Hello everyone,
When I first started using WordPress, I made several mistakes that affected my website’s performance and overall design. After learning more about the platform, I realized that many beginners experience the same problems.
One common mistake is choosing too many plugins. While plugins are helpful, installing too many can slow down the website and sometimes cause conflicts between features. It’s better to install only the plugins that are truly necessary.
Another mistake is ignoring website security. Many beginners forget to add security measures such as strong passwords, regular backups, and security plugins. Protecting your website early can prevent problems later.
Some new users also forget about mobile responsiveness. Today, many visitors browse websites using their phones, so it’s important to choose a theme that looks good and works well on mobile devices.
Lastly, beginners sometimes publish content without organizing it properly using categories and tags. A well-structured website helps visitors find information more easily.
I’m curious to know from other members here: what mistakes did you experience when starting with WordPress, and how did you fix them?
Looking forward to hearing your experiences!
